We wish. Fumes shows what’s left and estimates how long it’ll last. Your provider still sets the limits. We’re the fuel gauge, not the fuel.
Yes. Fumes will be free to download from the Mac App Store, with a $9.99 one-time purchase to unlock monitoring for all six providers. Your AI subscriptions are separate. You can restore the unlock with the same Apple Account.
No. Fumes monitors account status and subscription quota. It doesn’t read your prompts or conversations, and it doesn’t send prompts to AI models.
Fumes uses the supported CLI sign-ins for Codex, Claude, and Grok. Qwen uses the official Model Studio CLI. For Kimi and Z.ai, add your subscription key; Fumes stores it in macOS Keychain and sends it only to the vendor’s quota endpoint.
It’s an estimate based on your usage and reset schedule, not a crystal ball. Fumes needs at least 30 minutes of readings to learn your pace. Change your usage, and your runway can change too.
